East Africa is emerging as the next frontier for oil and gas exploration, and there are claims there is more recoverable oil in the Lake Albert Basin of Uganda,and in southern Sudan both separately than there is in all of Kuwait
Chad is also one of sub-Saharan Africa’s significant crude oil producers with proven oil reserves of 1.5 billion barrels.
