4th Ghana oil and gas Summit conference
Ghana’s Petroleum Commission is officially endorsing the Ghana oil and gas Summit conference and exhibition, taking place next month in Accra, Ghana.
The Petroleum Commission is responsible for the regulation, including licensing of the petroleum sector. This means that, any company seeking a permit or licence to operate in Ghana’s petroleum sector has to apply to the Petroleum Commission as stipulated by Act 821, which established the commission.
The conference, which is expected to attract more than 400 delegates, would address key issues such as “Unlocking Growth: Adding Value and Optimising Ghana’s Resource Potential”, “Investment Climate: Regulation, Incentives, Partnerships”, “Strengthening Local Content through Collaboration”, “Upstream Challenges and Opportunities”, “Infrastructure & Logistics: Facilitating Oil & Gas”, “Operations in Ghana”, “Ghana’s Gas Development and Monetisation Plans”, “Opportunities for Participation in Power Projects” and “Unleashing the Potential of Alternative Energies” to name a few.
The Ghana Summit, which focuses on Ghana oil and gas launching power, returns to Accra on 23-25 April 2013. For more info. visit
