Crude prices Rise
The price of OPEC basket of fourteen crudes stood at $60.02 a barrel on Friday, compared with $60.51 the previous day, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations.
Oil prices surged Monday after an attack on Saudi Arabia’s largest oil processing plant halted output of more than 5.7 million barrels of crude a day.
WTI U.S. crude oil was $60.49 per barrel
Brent crude, $66.76 per barrel.
Brent oil and WTI are at their highest levels since around July.
