Nigeria FG Rules out Impending Crisis over IOC’s Divestments

The Nigerian federal government has given a firm assurance that the spate of divestment of assets by international oil companies (IOCs) will not result in a crisis in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, but will help push crude oil production and the contribution of indigenous operators in the sector to about 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) in 2015.
