Tenaris Saudi Arabia Ltd. announces the successful completion of Saudi Aramco’s audit to start up its pipe manufacturing facility

Tenaris obtains quality certifications in record time to operate with Saudi Aramco

Tenaris has obtained all the qualifications necessary for its new Dammam premium threading facility to operate as a supplier of premium joints and accessories to Saudi Aramco in record time. These include: the quality certifications of the Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (ISO) and the American Petroleum Institute (API), as well as the TenarisHydril premium connections certification.

The first audit by Lloyd’s Register certification for ISO 9001:2008 took place in May, just three days after the first thread was produced. The second certification for the API 5CT/ISO 11960 monogram was obtained only two months after reviewing and implementing Tenaris quality management system documents and procedures. TenarisHydril premium connections certification is an essential achievement for the Dammam premium threading plant. Saudi Aramco also carried out a specific audit to qualify the facility prior to the start up.

All these are recognitions that Tenaris Saudi Arabia Ltd. meets the international quality management system standards.
