Total to provide training and employment for young people in France
Patrick Pouyanné, President and CEO of Total and Muriel Penicaud, Minister of Labor, today laid the foundation stone of L’ Industreet in Stains, Seine-Saint-Denis , a free school for young people qualification, aged 18 to 25 years. The Industreet will open in the fall of 2020 and will train 400 young people a year, in the trades of the industry of the future.
This initiative of Total, conducted through its corporate foundation, wants to provide a concrete and innovative response to the challenge of youth unemployment while more than 200,000 positions are available in the industry in France. Industry is a rapidly evolving sector of robotization and digitization and a breeding ground for opportunities for young people seeking their professional career.
