Addax Petroleum partners with Africa Oil Week
Addax Petroleum is taking an active participation in the 21st Africa Oil Week, one of the most senior-level annual oil and gas events held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 to 7 November 2014, by attending and sponsoring the event.
Also known as Africa Upstream, the conference is a long established landmark and gathers participants from the oil and gas industry, both from the public and private sectors, as well as ministerial and governmental delegations to discuss the continents’ breaking trends and priorities.
During the event, John Baillie, Senior Vice President, Non-Operated Assets and Corporate Strategy, will introduce Addax Petroleum’s position for continued growth in Africa. Among other company activities and plans, Mr Baillie will present the following projects:
the expansion of Okwori in OML126, the development of Ofrima and Udele in OML137 and the new field developments in OML123, all located offshore Nigeria;
the redevelopment of Mokoko Abana and first oil in Padouk, both located offshore Cameroon;
the onshore development projects in Gabon.
Mr Baillie’s presentation will take place on Tuesday, 4 November in Session N°2 entitled: Major Players in Africa’s Exploration Game.
