Oil and gas majors heading to perth for leading international event
Pennwell Corporation is pleased to announce that the Deep Offshore Technology (DOT) International oil and gas conference and exhibition will be staged in Perth, Western Australia, in November 2012.
Renowned for showcasing technology that is shaping the future of the oil and gas industry, DOT is returning to Perth for the second time in the event’s 31 year history.
To be staged at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) from November 27-29, 2012, DOT is receiving support from some of the biggest names in the global oil and gas sector.
Shell Development Australia’s Vice President for Technical and Prelude, Bruce Steenson, is chair of the advisory board and host of the three day conference whilst many other major national and international industry leading oil and gas companies have already secured up-front positions of support to participate in this year’s event.
The DOT 2012 Conference Advisory Board is made up of representatives from some of the biggest oil and gas companies in the world, including Shell International E&P, Chevron, BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd, TOTAL and Woodside Energy Ltd, along with leading service and support organisations such as KBR, Technip and Cameron – all of which will be present during the three day event.
With Australia undergoing a major oil and gas boom matched with unprecedented industry growth, this conference provides a unique opportunity for industry representatives and investors to see what advancements are coming through the funnel first hand.
The conference content for DOT 2012 reflects the industry’s increasing demand for new technology and services to safely and efficiently grow the global reserves base from the world’s most prolific, and prospective, resource play – deepwater.
Technical sessions are proposed to cover the following topics:
•Floating Production Facilities
•Subsea Technology
•Well Construction and Drilling Operations
•Mooring and Station Keeping
•Flow Assurance
•Marginal Field Development
