Paradigm Renews its Agreement with Mira Geoscience
Paradigm® announced today that it has renewed its value added reseller agreement with Mira Geoscience for the delivery of Paradigm SKUA-GOCAD™ modeling software to the global mining industry.
SKUA-GOCAD enables the interpretation and integration of multi-disciplinary data from many disparate sources into a single, quantitatively consistent 3D model. Advanced, easy-to-use and modular, the software ensures that 3D geological models respect a consistent structural, stratigraphic and topological framework suite, for the discovery and recovery of mineral resources.
“The modern mineral exploration imperative of targeting major new discoveries at depth or under cover demands multi-disciplinary interpretation of entire 3D geological frameworks,” said John McGaughey, president of Mira Geoscience. “Our long-standing partnership with Paradigm has enabled us to bring to the minerals industry quantitatively integrated 3D interpretation of geological, geophysical, geochemical, and geotechnical data to support critical exploration and geotechnical business decisions. Renewing our agreement will enable us to continue to leverage the tremendous oil and gas industry experience and technology base, where the concepts were pioneered and the technology leadership remains.”
“The SKUA-GOCAD modeling solution is the ideal solution for prospecting for and safely extracting all types of subsurface energy resources,” said Duane Dopkin, executive vice president of Geoscience for Paradigm. “We are thrilled that Mira has renewed its commitment to SKUA-GOCAD for advancing subsurface knowledge in the mining industry. The same successes that SKUA-GOCAD has achieved in the oil and gas market are being applied to mineral exploration, resource evaluation, and geotechnical hazard assessment.
The renewal of our agreement with Mira underlines the success of our collaboration and the versatility of the SKUA-GOCAD software.”
