PSIG Releases Agenda for 51st Annual Meeting
The Pipeline Simulation Interest Group (PSIG), a well-known and respected technical organization in the Pipeline Simulation Industry, is pleased to publish its agenda for the upcoming 51st Annual Meeting to be held in historic San Antonio, Texas from the 4th – 8th of May, 2020.
Since 1969, PSIG has hosted an annual conference to provide a forum where members from major oil and gas companies, specialized consultants, and academia highlight and exchange the latest information on pipeline simulation technology.
Details of the agenda may be found at www.psig.org with conference registration commencing in January of 2020. As in previous years, the week will kick-off with a two-day Pipeline Simulation Short Course given by four leading industry experts in the field of pipeline simulation.
This year’s conference will include four tracks comprising Analytic Methods, Electric Power and Gas Systems, Multiphase Systems, and Leak Detection. Over the duration of the meeting, speakers will present thirty-one papers covering numerous topics relating to pipeline simulation.
This year’s agenda will include speakers from all regions of the world including the US, Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Poland, Malaysia, China, and Australia.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be announced in early January of next year. For the successful 2019 conference, held in London, UK, the keynote address was given by Fintan Slye, Director of UK System Operator, nationalgridESO.
