Siirtec Nigi awarded a contract by Gazprom
Siirtec Nigi S.p.A. (Italy) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Gazprom komplektatsiya Ltd. to implement a natural gas treatment plant (GTP) to be located at the Kazachya Compression Station near Anapa in the Krasnodar Region of the Russian Federation. This GTP will treat gas for the utmost important South Stream Project, the gas pipeline that will transport Russian natural gas through the Black Sea to Central and South Eastern Europe.
After the successful experience with Gazprom komplektatsiya Ltd. for the implementation of the GTP for the Gas Pipeline “Nord Stream” laid on the Baltic Sea bed, the Kazachya Compressor Station will be the biggest GTP in the world based on a new concept of gas treatment. The plant will be able to dehydrate and control the hydrocarbon dew point of 195.2 standard million cubic meter per day of natural gas to reach the stringent specifications required for its transport.
Siirtec Nigi’s scope of work includes the supply of technology, engineering and design documentation, as well as equipment and materials necessary to implement two GTP trains to be started up in 2015 and 2016 respectively. In addition, Siirtec Nigi will be responsible for erection,commissioning and start-up supervision.
The award follows highly competitive international tender over several months. Siirtec Nigi’s bid has been selected as it best matched the customer’s needs in terms of process performance,pricing conditions and the guarantees of timely and high-quality project implementation.
