2024 NAPE Summit opens with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt
‘Governors Forum: Backing American Energy’ will be a joint celebration with NAPE Expo Charities
FORT WORTH, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#BitcoinMining–The 2024 NAPE Summit kicks off Wednesday, Feb. 7, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Oklahoma Gov. J. Kevin Stitt share the stage to discuss all things energy in the NAPE Governors Forum: Backing American Energy.
Building on the success of NAPE’s inaugural Governors Panel, which debuted at the 2023 Summit, the 2024 forum will be expanded into a joint celebration with NAPE Expo Charities that will salute America’s military heroes while spotlighting American energy — the industry that powers the world.

This year instead of one speaker for the NAPE Charities Luncheon, we will have two speakers — two sitting governors from two of the top energy states — in a forum that is open to all registered NAPE attendees,” said Le’Ann Callihan, vice president of AAPL and NAPE.
Since 2009, over $6 million has been donated through NAPE Charities events to help organizations that support U.S. veterans and active-duty service members. A full 100% of the contributions raised by the NAPE Expo Charities Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, are donated directly to deserving charities selected by the NAPE Operators Committee.
The afternoon festivities will begin with big check presentations to this year’s three deserving NAPE Expo Charities recipients: American Military Family, America’s Mighty Warriors and TADSAW (Train a Dog Save a Warrior). In addition, the 2024 NAPE Charities Anthony J. DeToto American Hero Award will be presented to U.S. Congressman Wesley Hunt, who represents the 38th District of Texas.
Next, sitting governors from two of the largest energy-producing states in the U.S. will share the stage to discuss all things energy. The Governors Forum: Backing American Energy panel discussion featuring Gov. Abbott and Gov. Stitt will be moderated by Jacki Deason, host of The Jacki Daily Show, and is open to all registered NAPE Summit and NAPE Charities Celebration attendees.
As champions of key energy states, Gov. Abbott and Gov. Stitt are making strides to enhance domestic energy security for our nation. They will discuss the important roles of Texas and Oklahoma in domestic energy production and security as well as share their unique insights into the current and future outlook of energy, policy and investment.
