Abandoned electric cars piling up in China’s ‘EV graveyards’

HUNDREDS of electric cars have been left to rot in eerie graveyards that have been springing up across China.

Many unwanted electric vehicles are ending up in ‘car graveyards’ across several cities. It comes as many countries continue to struggle to get their citizens to adopt the new technology.

There are now around 100 Chinese electric car makers, down from roughly 500 in 2019, Bloomberg reports.
