Pioneer Energy Selected as Finalist in the 2023 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge
LAKEWOOD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pioneer Energy, an original equipment manufacturer specializing in technologies that decarbonize the oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce its recognition as a finalist in the 2023 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge, a program of the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA). The challenge provides an invaluable platform for companies like Pioneer Energy to showcase their transformative technologies to industry leaders, investors, and the wider public. Pioneer will compete with twelve other technology companies on October 11, 2023, in Denver, Colorado, presenting the company’s groundbreaking Emission Control Treater™ (ECT) technology.
“We are proud to be named a finalist in the 2023 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge,” said Eyal Aronoff, CEO of Pioneer Energy. “This recognition reaffirms our mission to transform the oil and gas sector by developing technologies that promote environmental stewardship. Pioneer Energy remains devoted to developing new solutions that contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.”
Pioneer Energy’s Emission Control Treater is a groundbreaking solution in the pursuit of zero-emission crude oil production. Recently the ECT was deployed on a well pad in Weld County, Colorado where it demonstrated remarkable results, eliminating emissions, enhancing operational efficiency and boosting crude yield by an impressive 11.3%. The technology was also featured in the October 2023 issue of the Journal of Petroleum Technology. Pioneer Energy looks forward to engaging with fellow innovators and potential partners to accelerate the adoption of clean, decarbonizing technologies like the ECT across the oil and gas industry.
“CCIA is excited to be partnering with industry leaders and innovators at our technology scouting event with the goal of bringing cleaner solutions to the energy industry. Our partners utilize this important program to efficiently vet promising, early-stage companies and discover technology applications that will ultimately improve their operations and move us closer to a sustainable energy future,” said Laura Hickernell, Interim Executive Director of CCIA.
