Summary of Weekly Petroleum Data for the week ending November 28, 2025
U.S. commercial crude oil inventories (excluding those in the Strategic Petroleum Reserve) increased by 0.6 million barrels from the previous week. At 427.5 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are about 3% below the five year average for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 4.5 million barrels from last week and are about 2% below the five year average for this time of year. Finished gasoline and blending components inventories increased last week. Distillate fuel inventories increased by 2.1 million barrels last week and are about 7% below the five year average for this time of year. Propane/propylene inventories decreased 0.7 million barrels from last week and are about 15% above the five year average for this time of
year. Total commercial petroleum inventories increased by 5.2 million barrels last week
Gasoline inventories saw a sizeable increase of 7 million barrels in the week ending December 5. In the week prior, gasoline inventories grew by 3.14 million barrels. As of last week, gasoline inventories were 2% below the five-year average for this time of year, according to the latest EIA data. Read More
