(Oilandgaspress) Forest has named Octopus Energy as its official energy partner, with the supplier set to power Forest’s 20,000-strong London e-bike fleet with zero-carbon electricity from December. The partnership makes Forest the only London e-bike operator running both its bikes and service vehicles entirely on green energy. As part of the deal, Octopus employees will access Forest’s Cycle to Work scheme, while Octopus customers will receive free ride minutes, supporting cleaner, more affordable urban travel.

The partnership comes amid sustained growth in e-bike demand. Forest has seen multiple record-breaking months this year, with riders covering over 47 million km – equivalent to cycling around the Earth approximately 1,100 times – saving more than 2,160 tonnes of CO2.
