18 Dec GasBuddy December 25 U.S. gasoline price prediction
(Oilandgaspress) U.S. gasoline prices are expected to average $2.79 per gallon on Christmas Day 2025, according to GasBuddy, marking the lowest holiday price in five years. The forecast is below prices seen on December 25 from 2021 to 2024, reflecting easing fuel costs nationwide. GasBuddy attributed the softer prices to refinery maintenance winding down and rising gasoline supplies, which have reduced seasonal price pressures.

The nation’s average price of gasoline has fallen 4.5 cents over the last week and stands at $2.85 per gallon, according to GasBuddy® data compiled from more than 12 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the US
