EU Scientists Turn Tomato Waste into Sustainable Jet Fuel

  • European researchers, coordinated by TU Graz in Austria, have launched the ToFuel initiative to convert tomato processing residues into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
  • The four-year EU-backed project aims to develop a waste-free, climate-neutral biorefinery.
