(Oilandgaspress) -] On the occasion of its annual results, TotalEnergies details its main contributions and commitments in France, both as a leading economic player rooted in the country and as a responsible corporate citizen. “ Being alongside the French people, in all territories, is our daily commitment to meet their energy needs and support them in their transition ,” commented Isabelle Patrier, France Director of TotalEnergies .

Our 35,000 employees across our 4,000 sites in France are proud to dedicate all their energy to serving the daily lives of the French people:

By supplying approximately 25% of the fuel sold in France to more than 1 million customers on the roads every day.
By enabling 9 out of 10 French people to have a station within 15 minutes of their home thanks to our 3,200 service stations deployed throughout the country.
By supplying 45% of France’s gas supply in 2025.
By supplying our 4.2 million residential and business customers with electricity and/or gas and supporting them in controlling their energy consumption.
By covering the territory with 26,000 charging points for electric vehicles, including 1,900 high-power charging points, particularly on highways where we are a leader.
Having installed more than 2 Gigawatts of renewable power , which puts us in the top 3 of renewable electricity providers in France (wind and solar).
Having been awarded by the State the largest renewable energy project in the country, Centre Manche 2, the largest investment by TotalEnergies in France for 30 years.
By recruiting more than 1,800 people and 2,000 young people on work-study programs, apprenticeships and professional contracts .
By supporting 100,000 young people each year through the action of more than 101 partners supported by the TotalEnergies Foundation for Youth.
By being a major partner of French sport in rugby (Top 14, Pro D2, French XV & 7 teams) and in cycling (Tour de France, Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix).
We are also delighted with the strong increase (+13%) in the number of French individual shareholders projected for 2025, reaching 730,000 shareholders, an increase of over 80,000 in just one year. This demonstrates the French public’s confidence in the Company’s strategy and their commitment to the performance of TotalEnergies shares, as do our French employees, more than 80% of whom are TotalEnergies shareholders.

With our 3 refineries, 2 biorefineries, 6 gas plants, 13 bio-methanizers, 420 solar and wind power production sites and 3 gas import terminals we contribute to energy security and the supply of the country with gas, fuels and electricity.

We stand alongside the French people to provide them with all the energy they need on a daily basis. Thus, in 2025, TotalEnergies, for example, supplied 45% of France’s gas supply, 25% of its fuels, and 30% of its aviation biofuels.

We have invested nearly one billion euros since 2015 to ensure the modernization or transformation of our refining sites in France towards the production of biofuels such as in La Mède (Bouches-du-Rhône), Grandpuits (Ile-de-France) or in our refinery in Gonfreville (Normandie).
