(Oilandgaspress) International Rig Count is up 33 from last month to 1,112 with land rigs up 25 to 873, offshore up 8 to 239. International Rig Count is up 15 rigs from last year’s count of 1,097, with land rigs up 22 offshore rigs down 7.

The average U.S. Rig Count for February was 551 up 6 from last month count of 545 and down 39 year-over-year. The average Canada Rig Count for February was 222 up 25 rigs from last month count of 197 and down 25 year-over-year. The Worldwide Rig Count for February was 1,885, up 64 from the 1,821 counted in January 2025, and down 49, from the 1,933 counted in February 2025.
