Eni announces new 5-year revolving credit facility of €9B

(Oilandgaspress) – Eni has signed a new 5-year revolving credit facility of €9 billion, with an option to extend for another 2 years, refinancing the previous credit facilities of €6 billion and €3 billion signed in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The new facility will maintain the Group’s financial flexibility and extend the maturity of the available lines.

The credit line is provided by 28 leading global financial institutions, including UniCredit (as global coordinator, bookrunner, mandated lead arranger, documentation and facility agent) and Santander CIB (as global coordinator, bookrunner, and mandated lead arranger). The syndicate also includes Bank of America, BBVA, BPER, Credit Agricole CIB, Citibank, HSBC, Intesa Sanpaolo (as bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers), Banco BPM, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, ING, JP Morgan, Lloyds, Mediobanca, Mizuho, Natixis, SMBC, Société Générale, Standard Chartered (as mandated lead arrangers), Bayern LB, Goldman Sachs, MUFG, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanley (as lead arrangers).

The response from participating banks was very positive, with an oversubscription of approximately 40%, confirming Eni’s strong relationship with the international banking system.
