31 Mar TotalEnergies extends its price caps in France
(Oilandgaspress) In a context of sharply rising diesel prices, a fuel of which France is a major importer, and in order to continue protecting its customers in France for the Easter weekend, TotalEnergies has decided to extend until April 7:
the capping of the price of petrol at €1.99/L ;
the capping of the price of diesel at €2.09/L .
These measures apply until Tuesday, April 7th, at the 3,300 TotalEnergies stations in metropolitan France.
A price cap of €1.99/L for our Electricity & Gas customers will be implemented in 2026.
TotalEnergies Electricity & Gas customers enrolled in the “fuel advantage ” program benefit from a preferential cap of €1.99/L , regardless of the fuel type, for the entire year of 2026. The amount of the discount corresponding to the “fuel advantage” is shown on the receipt at the end of the transaction. This measure also applies to all new residential customers who sign up for an electricity and/or gas contract with TotalEnergies.
TotalEnergies wishes to reiterate its transparent pricing policy, which consists of passing on without delay any fluctuation, whether upward or downward, in international diesel and petrol prices.
