The new five or seven-seater Mercedes-Benz GLB

(Oilandgaspress) – The all-electric GLB model range which comprises of three versions: the entry-level model, the GLB 200 with 165 kW, has recently been launched and is available in Germany at a list price starting at €53,454.80 or a monthly leasing rate starting at €360 euros for private customers.

With a reassuring range of up to 631 kilometres (WLTP , the 200 kW GLB 250+ offers a range that is unrivalled in its class. The sporty top-of-the-line model is the 260 kW GLB 350 4MATIC. The latter two models feature a lithium-ion battery with a usable energy capacity of 85 kWh. And with a state-of-the-art 800-volt electric architecture, both can be recharged to provide a range up to 260 kilometres (WLTP) in just ten minutes.

The new GLB fully operates on the in-house-developed Mercedes‑Benz Operating System (MB.OS). The AI-enhanced system makes it possible to equip every vehicle with supercomputers connected to the Mercedes‑Benz Intelligent Cloud.

Following the successful market launch of the all-electric GLB, customers in Europe have also been able to configure and order the model’s siblings with high-tech hybrid powertrains online since mid-March 2026. The completely newly developed, electrified 1.5-litre four-cylinder in-line engine is available in three power outputs (100 kW/136 PS, 120 kW/163 PS and 140 kW/190 PS) and, depending on the variant, with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Prices in Germany1 start at €46,868.75 euros. And to make the dream of owning a GLB particularly easy to realise, there are attractive leasing and financing conditions, such as a monthly leasing rate starting at €360 euros for private customers.
