16 Apr The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz VLE is available to order
(Oilandgaspress) -–Mercedes-Benz is offering two attractively preconfigured variants that deliver an impressive product experience. The VLE 300 electric is available either with the Advanced Plus Package, which includes rear-axle steering, EASY-PACK tailgate incl. separately opening rear window and additional equipment or as an EXCLUSIVE version with the Premium Plus Package which also includes a head-up display, the MBUX Superscreen and DIGITAL LIGHT – among others. Both variants come with additional features such as AIRMATIC air suspension and the panoramic roof Sky View. With these unique specifications, this VLE 300 with five seats will start at €82,260 euros and as a six-seater from €82,712 euros at market launch.
The Mercedes-Benz VLE marks the beginning of a new era of Grand Limousines. It redefines the design, comfort, versatility and flexibility of grand space, pairing it with an unparalleled digital experience and the superior ride of a true premium limousine.
The VLE models available at launch deliver 203 kW of output and a convincing range: Up to 713 kilometres according to WLTP can be reached with the VLE 300 electric with standard equipment and the Advanced Plus package for instance. This Grand Limousine measures 5,309 millimetres in length, 1,999 millimetres in width and 1,951 millimetres in height (standard length) and is equipped with front-wheel-drive and a lithium-ion battery with a usable energy content of 115 kWh. With a state-of-the-art 800-volt electric architecture, up to 355 kilometres of range (WLTP) can be added in just 15 minutes[5]. Hence, the electric VLE comfortably covers long-distance journeys of around 1,000 kilometres with just a single short charging stop. Fast DC charging is possible at 800-volt charging stations with a charging capacity of up to 300 kW. However, the VLE can also use a 400-volt fast charging DC infrastructure, as a DC converter is available as an option.
