TÜV SÜD Invests $44 Million USD in a State-of-the-Art Electric Vehicle Battery Testing Facility in Michigan
New testing lab further expands TÜV SÜD’s battery testing presence in North America
WAKEFIELD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TÜV SÜD announces the development of an 80,000-square foot Electric Vehicle (EV) battery testing facility located near Detroit, Michigan. TÜV SÜD provides EV battery, environmental, EMC/wireless, electrical safety testing and homologation services to the global automotive and transportation market.
The new facility is scheduled for completion in Q1 2023 and will further enhance TÜV SÜD’s battery and environmental capabilities in Michigan to accommodate the expanding EV market and the ever-increasing EV battery sizes.
