Rwandans switching from petrol to electric motorcycles
Rwanda Electric Motors Ltd converts motorcycles to run on electric in a bid to reduce air pollution in the capital Kigali. The company has converted around 80 motorcycle taxis so far, the most common form of public transport in Kigali, and developed another 200 brand-new electric motorbikes for use in the country.
