Veriten “Goes Nuclear,” Adds Brett Rampal to Enhance Nuclear Sector Expertise
HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Veriten, a knowledge and media platform focused on energy, technology, and environmental trends, today announced the addition of nuclear industry veteran Brett Rampal as Director, Nuclear and Power Strategy.
Rampal joins Veriten from the Clean Air Task Force, a pragmatic, non-ideological advocacy group focused on catalyzing rapid development and deployment of low-carbon energy. He previously held roles at NuScale Power, Westinghouse Electric Company, and General Electric.
Veriten’s Founder and CEO Maynard Holt commented, “Veriten’s holistic approach to analyzing the future of energy requires deep expertise across a wide range of disciplines. We are excited to benefit from Brett’s nuclear industry knowledge and experience to provide more diverse and engaging content on the Veriten platform. Nuclear power plays an important role in meeting the world’s energy needs, and Brett’s insights will further enhance our understanding of global trends as well as nuclear’s unique attributes and future potential.”
To celebrate Veriten’s expansion into analysis of nuclear energy, a special edition of C.O.B.Tuesday (Veriten’s flagship podcast stream) was released on May 24, 2022, featuring Maria Korsnick, President and CEO of the Nuclear Energy Institute. Veriten’s conversation with Maria touched on many of the exciting and hopeful trends associated with the potential for expanded use of nuclear energy and highlighted the challenges and opportunities for nuclear ventures. Closing on an optimistic note about the environmentally friendly nature of nuclear energy, this special C.O.B.Tuesday episode is the first of many conversations that Veriten plans to have about nuclear energy and other opportunities to meet the needs of industry and advance the global energy transition.
