High Temperature Superconductors, Inc. Completes Acquisition of PVD Products Inc.
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–High Temperature Superconductors, Inc. (HTS) today announced the successful completion of its acquisition of PVD Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of custom thin film deposition systems, reel-to-reel deposition equipment for the coated-conductor market, and combinatorial deposition tools for rapid process development.
Founded in 1995, PVD Products specializes in the manufacturing of large-area pulsed laser deposition (PLD) systems along with thin film physical vapor deposition (PVD) techniques. PVD offers design and engineering services for a wide variety of high quality PLD magnetron sputtering and evaporation systems. Evaporation systems utilize thermal and e-beam evaporators. The company also manufacture custom chemical vapor deposition (CVD) tools. PVD Products is located just outside of Boston in Wilmington, MA.
