Audi integrates Gaming on the go AirConsole platform into car
London, August 05, 2025, (Oilandgaspress) –––Audi brings interactive gaming fun directly into the car with the AirConsole gaming platform specially developed for in-car passenger use. Passengers can now download the AirConsole app from the Audi Application Store and play together on the central MMI touch display, or on the MMI® passenger display for equipped models. Smartphones can be conveniently connected to the vehicle using a QR code, permitting passengers’ mobile phones to serve as controllers, while MMI screens transform into a gaming display. This makes every ride an entertaining experience for passengers – during everyday drives, while traveling long distances, or while charging your e-tron.
Together with the gaming platform AirConsole, Audi is turning the car into an interactive playground for passengers. Passengers can experience a variety of games directly via the central infotainment system. In select vehicles with an MMI passenger display, multiple games are available to play during the drive, as the Dynamic Privacy mode with shutter technology ensures that distracting content is not visible to the driver while the car is in motion. Passengers can easily turn their smartphones into game controllers by connecting them to the compatible vehicle by scanning a QR code displayed on the MMI screen once the AirConsole application is opened. Each AirConsole game arrives with its own uniquely optimized controller layout for intuitive wireless controller use on a mobile device. A myAudi account, active Audi connect PLUS trial or paid subscription, connection to and continued availability of 4G LTE or 5G cellular service, and a compatible mobile phone are required in the U.S. in order to utilize the Audi Application Store as well as to integrate with AirConsole games. Users must also agree to AirConsole’s terms of service in order to access the portfolio of games.
