London, 04 December, 2023, (Oilandgaspress): – Tesla (TSLA) saw sales of China-made vehicles jump more than 10% in November compared to a month ago even as the number dropped 18% vs. last year. The EV giant began delivering its revamped Model 3 at the end of October, according to according to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) Monday. TSLA stock edged lower early. Tesla sold 82,432 China-made vehicles in November, up 14.3% from 72,115 in October, breaking two straight months of sequential declines in vehicle sales. However, Tesla’s November sales total fell 17.8% from 100,291 in Nov. 2022. The data released by the CPCA Monday include exports. Tesla stock dropped 1.5% to 235.20 Monday during market action. Last week, TSLA shares rose 1.4% to 238.83. However, Tesla stock booked three consecutive losses on its Cybertruck delivery event. Read full article
BYD and Geely, accounted for 46.6 percent of the gross sales of electric vehicles (EV) in Israel in the first 11 months of 2023, according to statistics published by the Israel Vehicle Importers Association on Sunday. The two automakers led the EV sales chart in Israel in Jan.-Nov., with BYD selling 14,948 EV units, mainly the subcompact crossover SUV Atto 3, and Geely selling 6,884 units of the Geometry C compact crossovers. U.S. electric automaker Tesla secured the third position with the sale of 6,334 electric cars, while South Korea’s Hyundai Motor followed behind, selling 4,408 electric cars in this period. In total, 25,837 Chinese electric cars were sold in Israel in the first 11 months, accounting for 55.1 percent of all 46,854 EVs sold in the country during the period. Read full article
BYD is now outselling Tesla in China by more than 3-to-1.
China EV sales in week 47: BYD 48,300, Tesla 16,700, Nio 3,300. The data were published by Li Auto, and they represent weekly sales. The background data are weekly insurance registrations. The numbers are rounded and present new energy vehicles (NEV), the Chinese term for BEVs, PHEVs, and EREVs (range extenders). To be completely precise, it also includes hydrogen vehicles (FCEVs), but their sales are almost non-existent in China.
As usual, BYD got the first spot with 48,300 sold vehicles, down 8.7% from the 52,900 units the previous week. Between November 1 and 26, the Shenzhen-based automaker sold 178,000 cars in China.Tesla registered 16,700 vehicles in China, up 2.45% from the previous week. Between November 1 and 26, they sold 56,000 EVs in China. Interestingly, 2024 Model 3 registrations were down compared to last week, while Model Y grew 4.5%. Model 3 is having a hard time in China in 2023 as the 200k – 300k yuan sedan segment is overcrowded, and Tesla China sales rely heavily on Model Y SUV, which still stands well against Chinese competition. A network of fast charging stations (> 50 kW) will be installed at official Stellantis brand dealership locations across Europe by the end of 2024. The charging stations will be co-branded Free2move Charge, the comprehensive ecosystem fulfilling EV charging and energy needs, anywhere and in anyway, that embodies the e-ABC Promise: easy to Always Be Charged.

With priority on customer comfort and ease of charging, each site will be equipped with multiple fast charging stations, allowing retail networks to provide a seamless, best-in-class charging experience. Established in London in 2003, Movember aims to inform and raise funds worldwide for the treatment of certain men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide.
This is why, throughout the month of November, Lamborghini dealers and customers organized and took part in the “Bull Run” rallies of cars decorated with adhesive moustaches that owners applied to their hoods especially for the occasion.
