CLEAResult 2024 Sustainability Report Showcases Standout Year of Impact

The report highlights 908 billion kilowatt hours saved since 2003 and net zero achieved on Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today CLEAResult, North America’s largest energy efficiency, energy transition and energy sustainability services provider, released its 2024 Sustainability Report, detailing the significant impact of the company’s demand side management programs and services across the U.S. and Canada. The report contains comprehensive insights into CLEAResult’s climate impact, including the company’s own greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all scopes, and highlights their commitment to employees, clients and their communities.

Since its founding in 2003, CLEAResult has achieved a total lifetime savings of 908 billion kilowatt hours (kWh), averting 278 million metric tons of CO2 through its program delivery.

“This staggering achievement includes the lifetime impact of all projects completed before the end of 2024 and is a direct result of our relentless focus on innovation and our mission to change the way people use energy,” said President and CEO, Rich McBee.

In the past year alone, CLEAResult’s work resulted in lifetime savings of over 55,000 gigawatt hours (GWh), averting 16.2 million metric tons of CO2 and saving utility customers over $6.4 billion on their energy bills.

CLEAResult reported a total decrease in greenhouse gas emissions while the business grew significantly year-over-year. And through a new partnership in 2024, the company removed over 6,600 tons of carbon across three high-integrity industrial emissions reduction projects, resulting in net zero emissions for Scopes 1 and 2.

“This milestone is a testament to our collective efforts and strategic initiatives aimed at reducing our carbon footprint,” McBee said. “Our commitment to sustainability is not just a part of our business strategy; it is the core of who we are and what we stand for.”

As the imbalance between energy supply and demand is reshaping the landscape, CLEAResult is rising to meet that challenge.

“We are ready and rising to the occasion, leveraging our expertise and resources to help our clients meet their needs effectively,” said McBee. “Our commitment to excellence and sustainability drives us to continuously adapt and innovate, ensuring that we are not only meeting the demands of today but also preparing for the future.”
