Clearwater Industries Acquires Artech Water Systems, Strengthening Presence in Connecticut

MADISON, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Clearwater Industries, an EAI Water company and leading provider of industrial water treatment solutions, is pleased to announce its acquisition of Artech Water Systems, Inc., founded by John and Bonnie Hall. This partnership reflects Clearwater’s continued commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions to its clients while honoring the legacy of trusted, family-owned businesses.

Established in 1992 and based in Madison, CT, Artech Water Systems, Inc. has provided reliable water softening, conditioning, and system maintenance services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients for the last several decades. The Halls have built a company known for its customer-first philosophy and dedication to meeting the unique needs of the communities it serves and the Clearwater team is excited to build off of that legacy.

“This marks an exciting new chapter for Artech Water Systems,” said John and Bonnie Hall, Founders of Artech Water Systems, Inc. “Partnering with Clearwater ensures our customers will benefit from enhanced resources and capabilities while maintaining the personalized service they value most.”

Clearwater Industries, also founded in 1992, has grown into a regional leader over the last decade, specializing in boiler water, cooling towers, closed loops, and glycol applications. As part of EAI Water, Clearwater leverages the broader expertise and resources of a national platform to deliver innovative solutions to its customers. Operating out of an 11,000-square-foot facility in Shelton, CT, Clearwater combines technical expertise with a forward-thinking approach, staying at the forefront of water treatment technology and industrial water service.

“This acquisition underscores our vision of building long-term partnerships with businesses that share our values and commitment to excellence,” said James Grieder, President of Clearwater Industries. “John and Bonnie Hall have created an exceptional company, and we’re honored to carry their legacy forward while expanding our capabilities to serve their clients.”

Michael Warady, CEO of EAI Water, added, “Artech’s history of a client-focused culture in the Northeast market, coupled with the exceptional reputation that John and Bonnie Hall have built, makes this acquisition a natural fit for EAI Water and the Clearwater Shelton teams. Clearwater is one of the premier water treatment providers on the East Coast, and we are excited to add Artech’s talented professionals to this team. Together, we will continue to drive forward our commitment to providing cutting-edge water treatment solutions and exceptional service.”

With this partnership, Clearwater Industries and Artech Water Systems unite decades of experience to provide comprehensive water treatment solutions for clients across Connecticut and the Northeastern United States.
