CNOOC commissions the second adjustment project of Bozhong 28-2 South Oilfield

London, 25 September, 2023, (Oilandgaspress) – China National Offshore Oil Corporation announced today that the Bozhong 28-2 South Oilfield secondary adjustment project has been put into production.

The project is located in the southern waters of the Bohai Sea, with an average water depth of approximately 21 meters. The main production facilities include a central platform and a water injection pipeline. It is planned to put into production 21 development wells, including 13 production wells and 8 water injection wells. Peak production of approximately 7,600 barrels of crude oil per day is expected to be achieved in 2024.

CNOOC owns 100% equity in the project and serves as the operator.
