Divert, Inc. Appoints Katherine Pazakis as Chief Commercial Officer

Pazakis brings 20 years of experience to lead Divert’s commercial teams and scale customer and revenue growth nationwide

WEST CONCORD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#DivertDivert, Inc., a circular economy company on a mission to prevent food from being wasted, announced today the appointment of Katherine Pazakis to its executive leadership team as chief commercial officer.

Pazakis brings over 20 years of experience in driving customer and revenue growth, specializing in circularity and sustainability. In her role, Pazakis will oversee all aspects of the company’s commercial operations, focused on delivering customer innovation, enhancing customer acquisition and defining the strategic playbook for expanding Divert’s solutions nationwide.

Pazakis joins Divert on the heels of significant growth in 2024. The company expanded its customer locations by 22% year-over-year and entered new verticals, including warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing locations. In addition, Divert opened a first-of-its-kind Integrated Diversion & Energy Facility in Turlock, California, marking a key milestone as the company scales to 30 facilities nationwide.

Prior to joining Divert, Pazakis served as the chief commercial officer at TerraCycle, a recycling company focused on hard to recycle materials, where she led the global commercial teams. Previous positions included leadership roles with Glossier, the Estee Lauder Companies, the Boston Consulting Group, and Accenture.

Pazakis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University.
