Eni appoints new Natural Resources Director General

Eni informs that Guido Brusco has been nominated Director General, Natural Resources, effective from 7 February.

Brusco takes over Alessandro Puliti, who leaves the company. Eni wishes to express its strongest thanks to Mr Puliti for his excellent contribution over the recent years in developing traditional energy sources in the context of emissions reduction and progressive decarbonisation, which are fundamental levers of Eni’s energy transition strategy.

Guido Brusco has been Eni’s Upstream Director since 2020. He joined the company in 1997, holding positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of production and operations, with experiences in Italy, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Angola. Prior to his current role he was in charge of Eni’s activities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The decision was taken based on the succession plan, by the Board of Directors, after consulting the Nomination Committee, upon the proposal of the Chief Executive Officer, in agreement with the Chairman, pursuant to Eni By-Laws. On the basis of the declaration made by Guido Brusco, the Board of Directors ascertained his integrity requirements, as required by current legislation.
