EY Risk Transformation Awards

Following the inaugural Italian “EY Risk Transformation Awards”, which honor outstanding companies in risk management, Eni has been ranked first in the “Corporate Compliance” category.

The “EY Risk Transformation Awards,” in their first Italian edition, were held in Milan as part of the Global Risk Forum 2024. EY, a global leader in audit and accounting, tax and legal assistance, transaction and consulting services, recognizes companies through these awards for their innovative approach to risk management by transforming risk into a strategic opportunity. The event reiterates the importance of internal control and risk management functions, which are taking on an increasingly decisive and strategic role in achieving business targets.

The award was decided by an independent panel, formed by representatives of the academic and institutional world, who evaluated Eni’s commitment to research and development of innovative and integrated solutions in the field of Compliance. In particular, the panel appreciated that Eni chose to establish a dedicated integrated compliance structure as far back as 2016, reporting directly to the CEO, thus demonstrating a proactive and avant-garde approach in this area..
