Intersect Awarded on TIME Magazine’s World’s and America’s Top GreenTech Companies 2025 Lists

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Intersect Power, LLC (“Intersect”) has been recognized by TIME Magazine as a “Top GreenTech Company” on both their 2025 America’s and World’s lists. Intersect is building the first AI data centers with a “power-first” approach that co-locates data centers with power generation. Intersect’s solution can combine a hybrid of wind, solar, battery storage, and flexible gas generation to provide the speed, scale, reliability, and cost that data center customers require.

Hybrid solutions utilizing co-located clean energy and flexible natural gas are the fuel for the energy-intensive industries of tomorrow like AI,” says Sheldon Kimber, Intersect Power’s CEO and Founder. “As electricity demand grows at unprecedented rates, the clear solution is bringing new large industrial customers to where power can be easily generated. Intersect provides hyperscalers and other large customers with unmatched speed to power that is clean, cost effective, and reliable.”

Intersect recently announced a strategic partnership with Google and TPG Rise Climate designed to deliver gigawatts of new data center capacity across the U.S. with Intersect catalyzing a targeted $20 billion in renewable power infrastructure investment by the end of the decade. Intersect has already begun financing the partnership’s first co-located clean energy project, which is expected to be operational in 2026 and fully complete by 2027.

These prestigious awards are presented by TIME and Statista Inc., the leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Companies considered in the evaluation were ranked on three evaluation criteria: positive environmental impact, financial strength, and innovation drive.

Intersect is on an aggressive growth trajectory and is looking for talented professionals. For information on Intersect’s current open roles,
