Ironwood Midstream Announces Two Significant Promotions Within Its Executive Leadership Team

SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ironwood Midstream Energy Partners II, LLC (Ironwood II) today announced it has made two significant promotions within its executive leadership team. Justin Johnson has been promoted to President from Chief Commercial Officer, and Tyler Mason has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer from Vice President of Commercial. Mike Williams, who founded Ironwood in 2015, continues to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Johnson joined Ironwood in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer, before becoming Chief Commercial Officer in 2021. Prior to Ironwood, Johnson served as Chief Financial Officer at Palmera Resources. Johnson has also held various leadership roles in corporate development, finance, treasury, and accounting with Amromco Energy, Quantum Resources, and Carrizo Oil & Gas.
Tyler Mason, Chief Commercial Officer
Mason joined Ironwood in 2021 as Vice President of Commercial. Previously, Mason spent nearly nine years at Howard Energy Partners, most recently as Vice President of Business Development where he negotiated and executed midstream projects across multiple basins throughout the United States. Mason has also worked for Southwestern Energy.
Having recently completed construction of the Ironwood Express Pipeline, an approximately 45-mile trunkline through Gonzales and Karnes counties in South Texas, Ironwood continues to serve its customers by providing seamless market access to key ports, refineries, processing, and chemical complexes along the Gulf Coast region. With crude oil and natural gas gathering and transportation capacity of approximately 400,000 barrels per day, and 410,000 million cubic feet per day respectively, Ironwood’s customers are offered access to critical markets in Corpus Christi, Houston, Sweeny, and Three Rivers, among others.
