Leapmotor will at the IAA Mobility 2025
London, February 28, 2025, (Oilandgaspress) –– Leapmotor will be at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich (September 9 to 14, 2025). After the Chinese brand celebrated its much-acclaimed European premiere in 2023 at the fair, which is seen as one of the world’s most important mobility events, Leapmotor will also be represented at the IAA Mobility this year.
Leapmotor will use the event to provide an insight into its growing future model portfolio: In addition to the T03, B10 and C10 models already presented, Leapmotor plans to present an exciting new addition to the product range. Details will be announced later.
Leapmotor is on an ambitious growth path and aims to deliver more than 500,000 vehicles in 2025 after the brand reached 300,000 cars in 2024, doubling the sales volume of the previous year. With this result, Leapmotor has consolidated its position in the top three NEV (New Energy Vehicle) start-up brands in the highly competitive Chinese automotive market. In Europe, the joint venture Leapmotor International (51% Stellantis / 49% Leapmotor) began operations in autumn 2024.
A large-scale model offer is intended to support the brand’s global growth goals: Over the next three years, Leapmotor plans to launch five new models onto the market, thus completing its vehicle portfolio.
“Our appearance at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich confirms the long-term strategy of the Brand and the key role of the European Market. Global expansion remains one of our core goals – and Europe is at the top of our agenda. This of course also applies to Germany as the largest automotive market on the continent. “Our story of the international expansion of the Leapmotor brand started here, and it will write a new chapter at the IAA Mobility 2025,” said Zhu Jiangming, global Leapmotor CEO.
Leapmotor International CEO Tianshu Xin added: “We have been active in Europe for several months now and have already achieved many important milestones. Another of these is our renewed participation in the IAA Mobility, which we are very much looking forward to. Being on site at IAA Mobility 2025 will help us to be even closer to our European customers.”
In Europe, the Leapmotor brand benefits from sharing the strong sales and service network of the strategic alliance partner and shareholder Stellantis. And in Munich, too, the close cooperation with Europe’s second largest automotive group is visible: Finally, Leapmotor’s IAA booth will be located right next to that of the tradition-rich German brand Opel, which is the most representative Stellantis brand in Germany.
