Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupé now available to order

London, 07 May 2024, (Oilandgaspress): –Mercedes-AMG has begun sales of its new top model. The AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE Coupé is available to order at retail partners or online starting at 217,770.00 euros. (Combined weighted energy consumption: 12.6 kWh/100 km plus 8.2 l/100 km | combined fuel consumption with discharged battery: 12.3 l/100 km | combined weighted CO₂ emissions: 188 g /km | CO₂ class combined weighted: G | CO₂ class with a discharged battery: G)[2]. Together, the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine and the AMG Electric Drive Unit generate a system output of 600 kW (816 hp) and a maximum system torque of up to 1,420 Nm[3]. The rapid 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds is the fastest of any Mercedes‑AMG series-production model. Likewise, the top speed of 320 km/h underscores the powerful performance. The technical equipment fitted as standard leaves nothing to be desired. It includes the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with semi-active roll stabilisation, active rear-axle steering and the AMG high-performance ceramic composite brake system.

The exclusive AMG sports car architecture enables the generous proportions with optional 2+2 seating. The large EASY PACK tailgate including the HANDSFREE ACCESS function makes loading and unloading easier. If necessary, the luggage compartment can be expanded significantly using the split folding rear seat backrests.

The functional and visual focus of the interior is the 11.9‑inch MBUX multimedia touchscreen. The portrait format offers clear advantages, especially for navigation, as well as more ergonomic freedom. Extensive MBUX functions, including Navigation Premium, come as standard, as does the virtual race engineer AMG TRACK PACE and wireless smartphone charging.
