New Metron WaterMasters™ Full-Service Monitoring Levels Up Water Management for Real Estate Companies, Utilities

White-glove water monitoring service unlocks new efficiencies, frees employees for revenue-generating activities

BOULDER, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Metron, the global leader in cellular-based smart metering and water intelligence, today announced the launch of Metron WaterMasters™, a transformative new approach to water monitoring for real-estate companies and utilities. Drawing on Metron’s decades of experience and water expertise, WaterMasters is a white-glove water monitoring service that unlocks the full benefits of Metron’s smart meters and advanced analytics by removing the need for busy managers to evaluate and interpret sometimes complex usage data or to personally scrutinize their individual customers’ water consumption.

“Modern smart metering creates an incredible amount of powerful, real-time water data—but not every company has the time, resources, or in-house water expertise needed to turn all that incoming data into actionable insights,” said Matt Kosorok, Metron’s vice president of enterprise solutions. “With WaterMasters, customers can leverage our team’s extensive water experience to realize the full potential of Metron’s advanced water monitoring tools and simplify their business, drive water savings, and free busy teams to focus on their core revenue-generating responsibilities.”

WaterMasters subscribers collaborate with a Metron WaterMaster about what conditions and thresholds should trigger notifications, and then Metron’s team monitors the customer’s data throughout the week. When an issue arises, the WaterMaster contacts the customer’s action team with expert guidance and suggests a resolution. Typical issues that would be watched for include, but are not limited to, leaks and water losses, fixture failures, broken meters, irrigation violations, and low temperatures.

In combination with WaterScope®, Metron’s industry-leading water management software, WaterMasters helps customers focus on the issues that will have the greatest impact on their business and act quickly to resolve them.

Metron WaterMasters is offered in three subscription tiers, giving organizations the flexibility to select a level of service that meets their specific needs. Higher-level tiers add increased frequency of water usage monitoring and monthly calls with a WaterMaster for advice on addressing persistent issues and optimizing operations.

All premium level WaterMasters members also receive complimentary access to WaterScope Utility, Metron’s powerful solution for frontline teams, enabling alerts and work orders to be seamlessly delivered to work crews along with all the information required to find and remediate leaks or other infrastructure issues. Customers can also opt to empower Metron’s WaterMaster team to directly utilize this app and direct work crews for maximum impact.

“WaterMasters is a game-changer for real-estate companies and utilities of all sizes,” Kosorok continued. “Whether you’re part of a small team, or trying to coordinate water monitoring across a large regional organization, Metron WaterMasters gives our customers the insights and efficiencies needed to streamline operations and drive real bottom-line benefits.”
