Hunting Detonating Cords Approved for Transport to International Markets

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Titan Division of Hunting Energy Services, a subsidiary of Hunting PLC, the international energy services company, has received U.S. Department of Transportation approval for international air transport of the company’s internally manufactured line of detonating cords.

In addition to the standard temperature RDX, the approved product line includes higher temperature HMX products with conventional, low-shrink and extra-high velocity offerings. The approval for air pack shipping to international markets follows a year of successful detonating cord sales and implementation in North America.

Detonating cord dependability is critical to the success of every perforating operation. Hunting helps ensure product reliability by manufacturing detonating cords in its specially designed, state-of-the-art facility, and by having complete ownership of its detonating cord engineering and global distribution.
