Lamborghini Historical Archive Lamborghini renews its connection with its past every day, thanks to a unique collection of documents. The Archive, which factually tells the story of the company and its cars through thousands of original records, is at the core of all Lamborghini Polo Storico activities. Established in 2015, the same year as Polo Storico’s foundation, it supports restoration work, certifications, and the reconstruction of spare parts, playing a key role in preserving Lamborghini’s historical heritage. On its tenth anniversary Lamborghini Polo Storico, which continues to expand and digitize the Archive year after year, opens the doors of its collection to share its value and role with the world through a new video. To mark its tenth anniversary, Lamborghini Polo Storico tells the story of its mission through four short films, each focusing on a key pillar of its work: the historical Archive; the ‘Comitato dei Saggi’, a group of former employees who provide validation and support with their first-hand knowledge; restoration; and certification. The tenth-anniversary celebrations, which began in St. Moritz in February, will continue in the United States at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance (16–18 August), before concluding in Italy at Auto e Moto d’Epoca, scheduled to take place in Bologna from 23 to 26 October.

Neste starts to supply sustainable aviation fuel to FedEx Neste and FedEx, the world’s largest express cargo airline, have agreed on the supply of 8,800 metric tons (more than three million gallons) of blended Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ to FedEx at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is the largest SAF purchase by a U.S. cargo airline at LAX to-date. The fuel blend purchase will account for roughly a fifth of all jet fuel consumed annually by FedEx at LAX*.
This fuel purchase by FedEx marks the first major U.S. SAF deployment by FedEx and builds upon years of the company’s efforts to co-create innovative sustainable aviation technologies with other industry leaders. Through this agreement, FedEx has purchased blended fuel from Neste that includes a minimum of 30% neat, i.e. unblended Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Delivery of the fuel began in May 2025 and will continue for one year.
“Procuring SAF is an important component of our aviation emissions reduction strategy in the coming years, and we are pleased to have executed a deal with Neste to begin using this fuel in our air operations,” said Karen Blanks Ellis, Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environmental Affairs, FedEx. “Our aviation network represents the largest amount of FedEx fuel use globally and, as a result, is our biggest opportunity to drive down emissions. As we work toward our goal of carbon-neural operations by 2040, we need the SAF market to continue to grow to meet industry demand.”

China to deploy world’s largest drone mothership with 4,500-mile range, 100-UAV payload
First unveiled at the Zhuhai Air Show in November, the South China Morning Post reported that the aircraft represents a strategic leap in Beijing’s pursuit of extended-range UAV operations and asymmetric warfare advantages. The drone carrier possesses a maximum range of 7,000 kilometers (nearly 4,500 miles) and an operational ceiling of 15,000 meters, placing it well above the engagement envelope of most medium-range air defense systems.
Jiu Tian is configured for long-endurance missions across contested airspace with a maximum take-off weight of 16 tonnes (nearly 17.5 US tons) and a wingspan measuring 25 meters.
A specific feature of the UAV is its internal bay system, which is capable of releasing up to 100 loitering munitions or miniature drones, potentially including kamikaze-type UAVs.
These are deployed symmetrically from dual bays on the aircraft’s underside, enabling distributed or saturation attacks on enemy defenses.
Chinese drones The China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics, one of the country’s top makers of unmanned military aircraft, has sold more than 200 midsize and large combat drones to over 10 nations, greatly facilitating wars against terrorists, according to a senior manager.
Wang Zhaokui, one of the Beijing-based academy’s executives in charge of unmanned aircraft business, told China Daily in an exclusive interview that since the first delivery to a foreign customer in 2003, the Caihong, or Rainbow, combat drones have been widely deployed across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and have played a crucial role in counterterrorism operations.
The pilotless planes have accumulated nearly 70,000 hours in combat actions from nearly 12,000 sorties, and have fired more than 2,000 munitions, boasting a 98.2-percent successful hit rate, he said.

Shell shareholders call for more transparency over how increasing gas production aligns with its climate commitments. The oil major saw 20.56% of votes supporting a resolution put forward by shareholders at its annual general meeting (AGM) held near Heathrow Airport on Tuesday. The proposal called for the board to disclose whether and how its liquified natural gas (LNG) demand forecast, production and sales targets are consistent with its climate targets.
While not legally binding, support for shareholder resolutions can put pressure on business leaders to respond to the matters raised, and more than 20% of dissent against the board can be considered a rebellion.
Responding to the results, Shell said the board will meet its obligation to explain what actions it will take to consult with shareholders to understand the reasons why just over a fifth supported the resolution. The resolution was co-filed by Brunel Pension Partnership, Greater Manchester Pension Fund, Merseyside Pension Fund and the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) with the support of activist group ShareAction and more than 100 individual investors.
