PayPal payment solution is now available for refuelling at service stations
Eni Sustainable Mobility and PayPal, one of the world’s leading payments companies, announce that PayPal is now available for refuelling via the Eni Live app. The agreement between the two companies is effective at Eni sales points across Italy and it offers Eni Live users the possibility to pay more easily and quickly for all of its fuel products including Super, Diesel, Diesel +, Blue Super +, LPG, biomethane, AdBlue and the new HVOlution, the biofuel produced from 100% renewable raw materials*.
Eni Live is an app designed for private, business and Multicard customers, to whom it provides a wide range of services to help make the service station experience more efficient, automated and secure.
The addition of PayPal as one of the payment methods available in the Eni Live app follows the inclusion of PayPal in the app of Enjoy, Eni Sustainable Mobility’s car sharing service: in the Enjoy app, payment via PayPal has been active since June 2022 and is very popular with customers who choose shared mobility. The broadening of the collaboration between Eni and PayPal reflects a long-term commitment by both companies to help make the payment experience for refuelling at Eni’s service stations fast, more flexible, simple and more user-friendly, and may be extended in the future to many other mobility-related services that can be accessed from the Eni Live app.
Customers can install on their smartphones the Eni Live app, which is available for Android, iOS and Huawei and sign up or access the downloaded app where their account is registered. From the Profile section, they can choose PayPal as a payment method and set up their account in just a few steps. Once they get to the service station and refuel, their transaction is carried out directly from the app, where they can also find the receipt for their purchase at their convenience. Payment via PayPal with the Eni Live app also allows customers to take part in the Eni Live Play rewards programme.
