Reliance Partners with Surrey County Cricket Club
London, December 04, 2025, (Oilandgaspress) –– Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, has entered into a landmark partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club, securing a joint stake in the Oval Invincibles franchise of The Hundred. The new agreement sees RSBVL hold 49% and Surrey CCC 51% of the team, following the successful transfer of ownership from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Under this strategic collaboration, both the men’s and women’s teams will be rebranded as MI London starting in 2026, marking a major expansion of the global MI (Mumbai Indians) cricket network.
The Oval Invincibles have been the standout force in The Hundred since the competition’s inception, clinching an unprecedented five titles in five seasons. The women’s team won the first two editions consecutively, while the men’s side dominated with three straight championships from 2023 to 2025—establishing themselves as one of the strongest franchise teams in world cricket.
