Altus Power Releases Third Annual Sustainability Report

STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Altus Power (NYSE: AMPS), the largest commercial-scale provider of clean electric power in the US, today released its 2023 Sustainability Report “Renewable Energy, Responsible Practices,” highlighting the company’s progress over the past year in its Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives.

Highlights from the 2023 report include:

  • Installed and operated 896 MW of Solar PV, a 71% year-over-year increase.
  • Solar projects generated 780,000 MWh of renewable electricity, avoiding approximately 551,000 metric tons of CO2(e) emissions.
  • In 2023, females represented 43% of leadership positions.
  • Prioritized employee health and safety and appointed a dedicated Health and Safety Manager
  • Expanded access to the benefits of clean electric power to thousands of low-and-moderate income (LMI) customers in its Community Solar markets by minimizing barriers to entry including credit requirements, long-term contracts, payment processing fees and cancellation fees.
  • Joined the United Nations Global Compact and is committed to adhering to its principles-based approach to responsible business
