Rich Tabaka, the founder and president of Allied Resource Partners, founded in 2018, embodies the essence of the entrepreneurial spirit, a trait deeply ingrained in him through his family’s journey from Poland to the United States. His parents’ sacrifices and their pursuit of the American Dream profoundly influenced him. While still in high school, they supported his first venture—leveraging their home equity for him to refurbish and flip an undervalued property.
Balancing his academic pursuits, Rich worked as a caddy, securing a full-ride scholarship to the University of Colorado at Boulder via the Evans Scholar Program. There, he accelerated his education, completing a degree in construction management and environmental design in just three years. This academic achievement laid the foundation for his entry into the custom home construction business, which he expanded and adapted over time. Rich’s foresight and adaptability shone as he navigated his company through the 2007 Great Recession by focusing on bank foreclosure property management, eventually selling his successful enterprise in 2014, before reaching 30.
In 2010, seeking avenues to reduce his taxes and profit from the energy sector, Rich began investing in oil and gas. This decision marked the beginning of his deep dive into the industry, setting the stage for his later achievements. His entrepreneurial journey continued with the establishment and subsequent sale of a Paul Davis Restoration franchise in 2023, marking another milestone before turning 40. Inspired by the challenges and tax advantages of the oil and gas industry, he applied his proven business acumen and passion for innovation, culminating in the formation of Allied Resource Partners. Under his leadership, the company boasts a seasoned management team with extensive experience in geophysical and geological fields, dedicated to upholding the highest standards for investors.
Residing in Denver with his wife and two sons, he balances his commitment to his investors with enjoying outdoor activities with his family, illustrating his belief in the importance of both professional success and personal happiness.
The annual Titan 100 awards celebration on June 5th, 2025, will be held at Magness Arena in Denver, CO. The home of champions, Magness Arena is a multi-use venue within the Ritchie Center. This unique cocktail-style awards event will gather 100 Titans of Industry for an evening unlike anything that exists in the Colorado business community.
“On behalf of the entire team at Wipfli, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Titan 100 winners. It is a privilege to celebrate this remarkable group of leaders within Colorado’s business community. We deeply value the enduring contributions each leader has made, and continues to make, in shaping significant organizations both locally and globally. Your innovation and creativity distinguish you, and the recognition as an industry Titan is truly well-earned,” says Pete Aden, Partner at Wipfli.
