Sale of Potiguar basin asset

The binding phase for sale of the total stakes of Petrobras and Sonangol in the onshore exploratory block POT-T-794, part of the BT-POT-55A concession, in the Potiguar basin of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil has started.


Petrobras, in continuation of the statement released on July 9, 2021, informs the beginning of the binding phase related to the sale, together with Sonangol Hidrocarbonetos Brasil Ltda. (Sonangol), of the total participation of both companies in the onshore exploratory block POT-T-794, belonging to the BT-POT-55A concession, located in the Potiguar Basin, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.


Potential buyers qualified for this phase will receive an invitation letter with instructions on the divestment process, including guidelines for carrying out due diligence and for submitting binding proposals.
