Snapper Creek Energy Launches Physical LPG Brokerage Desk
Adds Energy Industry Veteran Deacon Shorr to Lead LPG Desk Supported by Team of Experienced Professionals

MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Snapper Creek Energy (“Snapper Creek”), an innovative data-driven commodity brokerage specializing in traditional, renewable, and transitional energy markets, today announced the launch of its Physical Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) brokerage desk. In conjunction with the launch, Snapper Creek announced that, effective March 1st, 2024, Deacon Shorr will join the firm as President of the LPG desk alongside a seasoned team of professionals, including Jake Shorr, Vice President LPG, Scott Gray, LPG broker, and Nick Teasdale, LPG broker.
Based in California, Mr. Shorr, who served as President of Libra Fearnley Energy for the last eleven years, brings a wealth of experience in the physical LPG markets to Snapper Creek. He will be joined by Mr. Teasdale, based in the firm’s London office, who joins Snapper Creek with over 30 years of industry experience and previously served as an LPG Marketing Manager at Saudi Petroleum Overseas Limited.

Mr. Shorr entered the LPG industry in 1983 as a broker for Fearngas in New York City. After spending five years as a broker, he began his trading career with Trammo Gas in London and later joined Ferrell International as a Managing Director. During his tenure, he established Ferrell International as one of the top LPG trading houses in the industry. In 2013, he rejoined the Fearnleys Group as President based in Paris and eventually in Santa Barbara, where he currently resides.
