Stellantis Wins 2023 Automotive Business Award

London, 25 September, 2023, (Oilandgaspress) – Stellantis has just added another achievement to its list of awards. The company, one of the world’s leading automakers and a mobility provider, was selected as the winner in the ESG category of the 2023 Automotive Business Award with the SUSTAINera project. The award ceremony took place the 20th of September at the São Paulo Expo (SP) during the #ABX23 – Automotive Business Experience, the premier business gathering in this ecosystem, which attracted more than 3,700 attendees this year.

The initiative, now in its 13th edition, aims to recognize companies, projects, and individuals who have excelled in innovation and their potential positive impact on the automotive and mobility sector. With SUSTAINera, Stellantis has demonstrated in practice how it is building a sustainable and profitable business based on the principles of the circular economy.

Stellantis introduced the SUSTAINera label for parts and accessories, indicating items that achieve up to an 80% reduction in materials and 50% in energy compared to their new equivalent parts*.

“We are very proud of this achievement, which highlights the significant work of our entire team in providing sustainable, transparent, and accessible products and services to our customers for all vehicle brands, without compromising quality, while preserving the environment through waste reduction and reduced use of our planet’s resources,” said Vice President of Parts and Services for South America, Paulo Solti.

In total, more than 290 projects from companies across Brazil participated in the awards. The selection of finalists was made by the editorial team of Automotive Business, who chose the winners from the cases received. The winners were determined by the audience through online voting, concluding with the #ABX23 audience on the day of the event.
